Rev. Tommie Pierson's Community Outreach

Rev. Pierson is the President of the Board of Education for Riverview Gardens School District in St. Louis County, Missouri. He is also the pastor of Greater St. Mark's Family Church and Chairman of the Advisory Counsel for the New I-64 Project. He was nominated for the 2008-2009 FOCUS St. Louis Leadership Program. The purpose of this blog is to share his leadership accomplishments with North St. Louis county residents and those of the greater St. Louis Metropolitan.

What are Rev. Pierson's priorities for Riverview Gardens School District?

My three top priorities to move Riverview School District forward are to adopt policies which are conducive to student learning to regain accreditation, work with the administration and other board members to stabilize the finances of the district which will allow the district to no longer be financially stressed, while working with teachers, parents, and the community to retain qualified teachers, support staff and leadership personnel.
